About the Book

Through My Eyes is a creative collection of poems and short stories for the average teenager. It explores love, hate, sadness, and every other emotion. This is a book that views the world through a teenager's eye.

Living My Life contains poems, ideas and short stories written my junior year in creative writing class. Many of the writings are based on real life situations.

Welcome to My World is a collection of poetry about life, love, heartbreak, and mystery through the eyes of a teen.

About the Author

Samantha Burke is a sixteen-year-old junior at Douglass High. She was born in Wichita Kansas. She lives with her parents and brother outside of Douglass, Kansas. She enjoys a good book. She is involved in SWAP, Teens As Teachers, Choir, and FCA. She volunteers at Wesley Medical Center.

Randall Cagle is an 18 year-old junior at Douglass High School. He lived in Valley Center, Ks. for twelve years before moving to Douglass, Ks, where he now lives with his family.

Tara was born in Phoenix, Arizona and now lives with her mother in Douglass, Kansas. She is 16 years old and in the 11th grade at Douglass High School. She enjoys reading mystery, horror and fantasy books and is also an accomplished artist.
