She began writing as a young girl, worked as a cook on the Mississipi river, ran 4 nursing homes and is author of a series of Romance novels.Maryanne Raphael, born in Waverly, Ohio, is the author of Mother Teresa, Called to Love, The Man Who Loved Funerals and co-author of Runaways. (Last two by iuniverse.com). Both authors now live in Carlsbad, Califwhere they spend much of their time writing.
