About the Book

“The methods animals use to communicate with each other and with us are explored in depth in this fascinating book, written by two animal-behavior scientists. Packed with information on why and how wild creatures ‘talk,’ this volume is also user-friendly because of its engaging anecdotes that sometimes tell about actual instances of animal interactions and other times suppose fact-based scenarios. Blended with straightforward documentary text and black-and-white photos, the pleasing narrative will help bring out the animal lover in any reader.”
