About the Book

Fancy Flight is a collection of poems written by Karen A. Davies, for you, in hopes that you may find that special place where your heart remembers its name. Pixus the Pegasus will guide you through your flight to the shores of lovenock island to the mountains of darkwind cave. Sit back, enjoy your "flight of fancy" and let Pixus astound your senses and entertain your imagination! To begin your flight, Pixus whinnies these words to you, "My name is Pixus and I welcome all, the young, the old, the short, the tall. I'm so glad you could stop by. Come dream with me and dry your eye."

My master worked real hard, you see on lots and lots of poetry. So glide with me through day or night. I'll guide you on your "fancy flight!"

About the Author

Karen Ann Davies was born in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pa. in the early 70?s where she currently lives. Karen was married to Brendan in 1994 and they have one child, Nathan, who is soon to be 9 years old. Fancy Flight is Karen?s second book of poetry. Karen is a stay at home mom who would like to go to school for music and writing. Her hobbies include, singing, writing, reading, swimming, fishing, and surfing the web. She started writing, off and on, at the age of 17 and continues to write. Karen has been published in many magazines and books and has received awards and certificates for her poetry.
