The author attempts to entertain and educate those with an interest in this fascinating topic. He goes to great lengths to avoid glamorizing the subject matter, or embellishing upon the experience, as you might get with popular print and broadcast productions. About the Author

Dr. S is a practicing emergency physician. He came to medicine after careers as a USAF officer, a construction company owner, and a computer consultant. He holds a Doctorate in Medicine, and a Masters in Business Administration. He is residency trained in internal medicine, but found emergency medicine his forte.
