About the Book
Light Nights is a good natured and extremely readable narrative which takes the reader through the unexpected situations which occur as the writer makes his way from the East to the West coast of Scotland. For those who appreciate the unplanned quality of life, Light Nights and Wet Feet is an engrossing combination of humor, experience and non-pedantic analysis.
About the Author
Mr. Grundstein's pursuits have provided him with a good alternative to making a living. In addition to travel on six continents, study at the University of Michigan, a degree in piano and culinary training, he has found a way to avoid all the advantages of life (and most income) to write on travel and the culture of food. Under duress he will admit he is an attorney licensed in the state of Washington, but never uses it because he found a dignified way to make a living.
