About the Book
A guided chefs’ tour of Thailand becomes the scene of a series of very strange events including a very bad burglar, drunken mushrooms, romance and drugs…but it’s up to the non-chef in the group, Joan Maguire, to play a very non-traditional Mrs. Marple and unravel the complexities of a cross-cultural crime and an international mystery.
Mixing a fond familarity with Thailand and Thai customs together with a keen appreciation of the culinary scene, Cooks' Tour takes the reader inside the culture of a fascinating land where the customs are not merely colorful but also clues.
About the Author
Ben Ezzell is presently a Consulting Systems Design Engineer but has previously been an airman, a sailor, an electronics technician, a biblioholic and dealer in antiquarian titles, a publisher of fantasy role-play titles and a printers’ devil…among other varied occupations. In addition, Ben enjoys travel, horses, elephants and camels, will eat anything that he can pronounce best two out of three (or not, in a pinch) and speaks multiple languages badly but well enough to delight his various foreign hosts. Ben is also the author—on a weightier plane—of more than two-dozen books relating to computers, computer programming and computer certification exams.
