About the Book
In Siskiyou Racer a 1930's American car racer finds himself on the path to enlightenment along with his girlfrind. They pursue this new high powered Indian religion thay have discover within their own Christian backgound and with one of their friends following the path of Sufism. They do this while still being involved in some wild sexual antics with their friend Miriam. Its a fun book because it combines consciousness raising, car racing, reincarnation and the triumph of an American hero (and the triumph of his girlfriend) and some pretty heroic animals.
About the Author
Thomas Lipsett spent his formative years racing sports cars and hanging out with the Beat Generation writers in California. He has worked as a DJ and newsman in broadcasting, done some ashram hopping and taught commiunications for a college in New York.
