About the Book

The Saga of Dan I'gga was inspired by a continual evolution and break down of attitudes about civil rights and the civil rights struggles and the following social revolution that severely weakened the Black family. Dan I'gga is the main character. I write about his plight through funny poetic structure. I'gga has suffered much at the hands of the White man for many years. Frequently he has been his own worst enemy. Things will be better now though. Having been called Nigga or Da Nigga for years, I was tired of him not having a name. His name is I'gga. Say Eye-ga. Dan I'gga. He has a name now. He no longer has to be a Nigga.
