The semi-factual account of life behind razor ribbon. Sometimes the work is scary and most often the work is day to day routine with little bits of terror. This is about the New Mexico prison system but could be anywhre in the nation that holds peole against their will or by the courts. The main motto is we the unwilling lead by the unqualified do the necesaary for the ungrateful. This book is from thier point of view and that of their supervisors that go to work each morning or night ot knowing if they will come home after eight hours of work.
About the Author
The author has worked for the prison system for fourteen years and has as indepth knowledge of what happens during a shift and a work assignment. He rose through the ranks and worked the housing units almost all of his career. He nows enjoys life and has left the prisons behind except as a memory. He has what is needed in a prison and that is compassion for people. Most prison workers do not have this trait. The author holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Counseling Psychology from Texas A & M, Commerce, TX.
