About the Author

Steve LaVista was born in Passaic, New Jersey in 1974. He grew up with his parents and brother in Bloomfield, New Jersey and attended college at Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey, where he attained a B.S. in Computer Science. Steve has been a technical writer for a major telecommunications firm for several years and has worked on several short stories in various literary circles. In his spare time, Steve performs in a Metal/Jazz band called Skull Tavern and is an avid Science Fiction fan. He still finds his home in the Garden State and lives with his two cats, Tiny and Purvis.
