About the Book

Two years before he fell in love with another woman and decided to leave his wife, Stephen Laucik began keeping a private spiritual journal, "listening" to his daily life as a form of prayer. Darkness & Dreams, a highly condensed edition of that journal, is the result. It chronicles Laucik’s agonizing process of ending a long, dysfunctional relationship and coming to terms with his decision before God. It is an intensely personal narrative of a universal theme: the death and resurrection of love.
