Alicia's attorney, Max Bailey, concocts a scam to commit her to Rhinewood Mental Hospital and take ownership of her old Victorian-style farmhouse, built by Alicia's family before the civil war. The house stands empty for 14 years until two young couples move in. Bizarre dreams and unexplained phenomena drive the new residents to find Alicia and the answers to some chilling questions.
