About the Author

Joe Pursifull was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer in Oct 1996. Joe has undergone multiple surgical procedures and regimens of chemotherapy in his battle against cancer. Along with his cancer affliation as counselor and camper at an adult cancer camp outside of Birmingham Joe has done volunteer prison ministry in Alabama for over twenty years. In previous years He and his wife Judy also volunteered with the Salvation Army Youth Center in Birmingham. They have six kids, eleven grandkids and live in Snow Rogers, Al.
