About the Book
The quest to preach well is an endless one. The Sermon Doctor combines the preaching and communication expertise of Harry Farra with the wisdom of the masters of all ages, classic to modern. Substantial help awaits both experienced and younger preachers. Seminarians, especially, will find bedrock principles here to shape their preaching ministry.
In a unique Socratic format, this creative guide to preaching records a series of fictional meetings between the Sermon Doctor and three discouraged preachers in search of a better understanding of effective preaching. They have a deep desire to honor God and inspire congregations by revitalizing their faltering preaching techniques.
Many helpful insights are provided in this practical and creative handbook for today’s sermon makers.
