About the Book

Danny Kingston, a preacher's son and a well-liked honor student, has admired Serena Davidson, the popular, pretty, captain of the girls varsity volleyball team, since the first day of their freshman year in high school; but he could never summon the courage to speak to her, let alone ask her out. That is until their senior year, when Serena's grade in geography begins to plummet, threatening her position on the volleyball team. Her coach and geography teacher intervenes and asks Danny to tutor her. Gladly agreeing to help her out, Danny and Serena immediately hit it off. Inevitably, they fall in love and eventually get married. They endure many challenges and obstacles in their marriage, which serves to test their allegiance to Jesus and to each other. Always victorious, Danny and Serena feel that there isn't anything they can't overcome. Until one day, their allegiance to Jesus and their allegiance to each other are put to the ultimate test by a band of radical Muslim terrorists, who are out to rid the world of all Christians. Will Danny make the right decision? Or will he give in to the terrorists' demands and undermine everything he's ever stood for?
