About the Book

The story of Edah Franz, who had many fascinating experiences in the Middle East as a performer, a survivor of WWII German and Russian occupations in Hungary, a refugee emigrating to Brazil; finally becoming a U,S, citizen. Retired now,and lecturing about all those experiences in schools and adult education centers.

About the Author

Edah Franz, a former Hungarian refugee who left her country in 1948 to escape Communisim, now lives in Eugene, Oregon, after having traveled, lived and worked in many European, South American and Middle Eastern countries. She is fluent in seven languages, loves to cook and entertain, and also lectures about the places she has visited during her tumultuous life. She lives with her husband in a beautiful park, a gated community, with their dog Tzuki, and ChaCha the cat.
