About the Author

Dr. Phillips holds a bachelor degree in Biology and Chemistry, a masters and doctoral degrees in Public Health. She is formerly a Vice President for Academic Affairs at a technical college in Florida and currently works as the Director of Career & Technical Education at a state college in FLorida. She has presented at numerous national conferences on retention, advising and diffusion of innovations. Dr. Phillips hobbies include reading a wide array of fiction and scientific works,hydroponics, and international travel. She currently resides in Florida.
