About the Book

This book is a funny sometimes biting look into the world of a successful albeit plus sized black woman and her struggle to come to terms with her feelings about her own body.

It's about the love of her fiancee who finds her to be the sexiest and most exciting woman he knows. They love each other and he asks her to marry him. She says yes and begins to try to plan a wedding in the midst of her therapy practice, her twin teenage sons and her life in general. She doesn't expect a wedding in a month to be easy but she doesn't anticipate the attitudes that still exist about plus sized women.

This story takes you into that experience using humor to make the point you don't have to be thin to be loved and get married.

About the Author

Chamein Canton is a native of Amityville, Long Island, New York where she lives with her twin sons Scott and Sean. Currently she's working on her graduate degree in psychology.
