About the Book
Rachael is an average mother in an average world. Troubled by a state of depression. She had suppressed feelings dating back to her childhood. She had come from a dysfunctional family ao alcoholism and from that also physical and emotional abuse, and survived to tell about it, in hope that others will rethink their choices.
About the Author
Born in Washington DC. is Rachael McGee. Believes her father Billy Warren McDonald gave her the talent of writing poetry. She always wanted to write and has tried her hand at children's stories and this novel as well. Ms. McGee is a preschool teacher (and teaches 2 yr. olds in a class she named "The Teddy Bears" in Gaithersburg, where she resides with her husband Robert a correctional officer and son Robert who has not yet decided where his interests lie. Brenda Michelle, her daughter, now graduated the University of Maryland and teaching for Montgomery County, is living happily in her own apartment. Brenda did see herself grow up again. She had a second chance to see herself grow up again through her daughter. The second time around was wonderful. There are many wonderful memories to reminisce. Rachael says, "I will never grow up, because it too hard and just not worth it when you get there. We are here temporarily, therefore we must enjoy what we can. We must always instill upon all those we meet, 'Good Memories', because when our last day comes, that is really all we have. Our Memories. Live each day in happiness and be sure to always leave a good memory behind with each that you meet. This is good medicine and the right path to follow."
