About the Book

The Mask of Herod is enthralling fiction deftly blended into the violent real life events of the past 2000 years. It traces the bloody path of a cursed piece of sculpture created around the time of Christ’s birth and in defiance of one of God’s Ten Commandments.

Most of the book’s action takes place in the century just concluded and tells the interrelated stories of:

* A child of the Holocaust…victim of a brutal rape…whose extraordinary courage drives her to overcome huge obstacles and rebuild her life in the newly created Promised Land of Israel.

* An ex-Marine whose startling discovery helps him avenge the long ago murder of parents he had never known.

About the Author

Bernard Scott was an editor of mass circulation tabloids on both sides of the Atlantic for many years. For the past 15 years he has worked as a freelance journalist for publications both here and Europe. This is his first novel.
