About the Book

After four years study, Anderson Woodbury is required to conduct and submit a dissertation. He has a topic: the analysis and control of psychological tension; but still needs to persuade a faculty member to be his PhD advisor. His ongoing involvement in university politics, and refusal to compromise his beliefs, test the goodwill of even his closest friends and supporters, including his life-long friend and confidante, April Brooker. Just one year out from completing his studies, he may have to throw it all away, unless a means can be found to align conflicting interests and thwart those who seek to destroy him.

About the Author

After playing and coaching rugby, playing international tennis and working as a journalist in Europe, the author obtained a PhD, then spent 25 years teaching psychology, mainly at Victoria University. He lives with his wife in the hills overlooking Wellington harbor, and is working to reduce his golfing handicap.
