About the Book
Who, at some time or another, has not wished for a Pooka in his life-that shape-shifting creature from Celtic lore who can literally make dreams come true?
Meet Genesis Boa, a poet who fancies his girlfriend, Zeezy Willig, is a Pooka. She is something-intelligent, sexy, and at times, clairvoyant. As her wonders unfold, Genesis says to her: "Let's be what other couples dream of." Zeezy signs on.
But Zeezy is no Pooka-a fact that continuously eludes this man who, from time to time, ponders, then discounts that he is a paranormal.
Soon, uplifted by each other, the two lovers soar-above the frightened wanna-bes, beyond the graveyard of wrecked romances below. It is almost easy. But when reality strikes, the self-proclaimed "Millennium Couple" topples earthward. All appears lost as Genesis staggers north in search of something that might not exist.
In the throes of his crumbling world, Genesis is becoming a paranormal and doesn't realize it. On the shores of Lake Superior, he meets what may be a real Pooka, but he doesn't know.
