About the Book

Kathleen, a distraught well-known pianist, flees to the New Mexico wilderness to escape her violent and obsessed young lover Dorian. While staying with a friend at the remote Silver Cloud Ranch, an irresistible attraction develops between her and a French artist, Count Jean-Luc Salicetti, much to the dismay of Jean-Luc's unbalanced American wife Isadora, whom he had met ten years ago in very romantic circumstances in Paris, France. Against the backdrop of the wild West, Jean-Luc and Kathleen rediscover desire and love, while unbeknownst to them, both of the jilted lovers seek to destroy them out of jealousy fueled by insanity. In a violent ending, lives are shattered, but for some, there is a chance to begin again.

About the Author

Vanda Warden was born and raised in Paris, France. A former actress with a Bachelor Degree in Philosophy. She is married to the film and stage actor, Jack Warden. They have one son Christopher, also a writer. She has traveled extensively all over the world and lives in Malibu, California.
