About the Book

Pilot Light provides a creative departure from Tina Lustig's debut collection, Ancient Dance, delving into the lyric sonnet form. Inspired by Edna St. Vincent Millay, John Keats, and William Shakespeare, Lustig brings a contemporary voice to the English sonnet. Her intimate sequence of twenty-five sonnets weaves an idyllic journey that portrays the unique possibilities of life.

Continually influenced by the music that permeates her poetry, Lustig explores the power of everlasting love, the magnitude of nature, and the struggle for a life of meaning free from material yearnings. About the Author

Tina Lustig divides her time between the software technology business and writing poetry, essays and short fiction. She has been inspired by poetry since she was thirteen. A Chicago native, Tina lives in Southern California with her husband and two children. Pilot Light is her second book of poetry.
