About the Book
Do you battle with "Is it God's will to heal me or does he heal everyone?"
~~~~??~~~~
Most people battle at one point or another in their life with some type of sickness or disease, whether physical, mental, emotional or financial. As a result of Jimmy Shaw's life experience with heart surgery and multiple myeloma cancer, passion was produced to know the real truth, as he pulled the rhema Word on healing into his memory and transferred it into the soil of his heart, thereby releasing it through the gate of his lips. His experience coupled with his passion now presents truth through this literary testimony.
Discover how to receive, implement and keep your healing as this Author has done. As you open your Word (The Bible) and hide it in your heart, you too, can overcome anything by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony.
If you will journey and choose to believe and be set free, the Son will set you free indeed.
About the Author
The author was born Jimmy Levoid Shaw on April 16, 1949 in Marion, South Carolina, a small town in Marion County in the upper part of the state. He graduated from Marion High School in 1967 and went on to receive an associate degree in mathematics from the University Of South Carolina at Florence, S.C.
He married Judy Carol Calder in 1968, and started pursuing a career in the retail grocery business for about twenty-five years total. Judy and Jimmy had two lovely children, Rob and Nicole. After leaving the grocery business the first time, Jimmy went to work for about three years in the textile fiber business before returning to the grocery business to become a store manager for ten years. This was valuable experience in working with people and learning to care about them.
Later Jimmy left the grocery business for a career in the residential building business as a contractor, which after five years led him to become a job superintendent in a commercial building firm. It was during this time that he was stricken with what the doctor said was an incurable cancer disease that devastated his back and caused him to be disabled. Since then the cancer has been cured, but the damage to the back remains at this time.
Jimmy was raised by his parents, Juanita and J.W. Shaw in Marion S.C. His father died in 1983 of a massive heart attack, but his mother still lives to keep the family straight. His parents, especially his mother, kept him in church all the years he was growing up and instilled a deep faith in him that he would later need.
Judy and Jimmy reside in Florence, S.C. where he is presently a deacon in his church. They have three grandchildren and one on the way.
Jimmy has been called to teach the bible, by God, of which he has done for a number of years as a Sunday School teacher. He has spoken in several churches since being called. His desire is to teach the word in every possible forum. That is why he decided to become a writer.
