From Maine to Mana (Western most site on Kaua'i) our country is changing. With care it can become a paradise. Without care it will become a place of refuse. These parables are a reminder that persons and even critters have a special place in Hawai'i, whether native born on the Islands or never even knowing that they were here. (Gladys)

These parables, which are earthly stories with heavenly meanings, are intended to be activators. The reader is invited to take part in conserving the beauty and resources of the country through the title parable. May each place you leave on your earthly visit be more beautiful for your having been there.

About the Author

The author has served as pastor in Hawai?i, during tourist times the most heavily populated state, and also Alaska, the most lightly populated state of our country. He has enjoyed seeing parables everywhere he travels, and he invites you to do the same.
