About the Book

Angel is tired of living a lie. She wants to be free to be herself and love whoever she wants to love, whether a man or a woman. Only problem? She is not sure of the truth herself

Why? Because the heroine of Fallen Angel, has lived a lie so long even she has started to believe it. This urban fiction novel details the journey of Angel, a 24-year-old beautiful black woman, to discover what she really wants out of life and love. Fun and unexpected, the book weaves lies with love, treachery with truth, teaching Angel and its readers the ultimate meaning of honesty, passion, devotion, and love.

Intelligent and stunning Angel Wells has lived most of her life following the rules of mother and her deceased father, a well-known pastor and civil rights leader who died when her mother was six months pregnant. Unable to just be herself, like her promiscuous older sister, Angel, up until our story begins, has lived the quiet life, as a perfect daughter and Sunday school teacher. No longer able to deny the fact that she feels she loves women more than men, Angel set outs to San Francisco, where she will live with her gay best friend from high school, Michael, who also escaped the Midwest and its Christian values. She finds herself falling for two completely opposite people: Nate, an attractive bi-racial male who is best friends and lovers with the star player of the San Francisco Cougars, and Jesse, a sensual and beautiful Hispanic female that is tired of playing games and ready to settle down with just one woman for life. Angel soon finds herself in over her head and soon begins to feel as if she is going to drown in the waves she is stirring up.
