About the Book

About Stan Ashton's Poetry

Stanton Dean Ashton's rhyming poetry covers a wide spectrum of interests, from relating personal experiences to touches of mythology, history, nature, wildlife, sports, friendship, and even a little love.

His recollections shift back and forth from the Beaches of the California Coast to the Wheat Fields of Kansas to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. His personal experiences and thoughts develop into a congenial anthology of narrations set to rhyme.
