About the Book
In 1968, at 20 years old, while going through the double trauma of my parents' divorce, and my own divorce from my first husband, I began writing down my thoughts and feelings on scraps of paper.
At the time, I wrote to debrief myself and never dreamed that my writings would someday have any relevance in someone else's life.
In October, 1969, while pregnant with my first child, I wanted to write a poem to celebrate the new life growing inside me. That poem turned out to be The Fulfillment of Love. It didn't rhyme, but it spoke from my heart. That is when I began to keep my little scraps of paper, so that I could read and reflect on them later. I continued to write sporadically about events in my life, and my poetry evolved.
This book is an in depth study of me, body and soul, over a 30 year period.
