About the Author

Sandra Abu-Bakr is an accomplished English teacher of over thirty years. she has been awarded the Crystal Apple Award from Denver Public Schools and appeared three times in Who's Who in American teachers, an award for only the most distinguished in the profession. Her career has led her, in her own words, to know "what makes young people laugh!"
