About the Author

San Francisco native and a graduate of the City's famed Lowell High School, Ms. Mattingly still lives in her beloved home city. She received her BA in Anthropology at the university of Wisconsin, Madison and her MA in Anthropology at San Francisco State. She has two children, Christopher, who is a graduate student at London University, and McCabe, a drama student at San Francisco State.
