About the Book
During the 1990's Peter Halstead Hudgens did time in the Arizona state prison system for offenses stemming from his addiction to methamphetamine. He composed many hundreds of poems while he was incarcerated, most of them handwritten on yellow legal pad. After his release and his recovery from addiction he led a full and productive life, until he died in an automobile accident in 2004.
