Read these poems as if you were riding a train through the darkness of your night, in the light of your dreams, passing all the people you know, and all the ones you love. Read these poems as if your life were a train, your eyes the conductor, each line a rail for the track, and each poem a stop at a station where the world waits, to be waved at from the window of your dreams. These poems are not mine, but yours; for I am who you are, and you are merely what we are.

About the Author

Patrick Wallace is a twenty-one year old student and traveler who lives periodically in New York, Boston, and Hudson. His poems are written with, ?the echo of the river, the city streets, and the lives that run up against each other singing against my mind.? This is his first book.
