The Forgotten God of the Covenant

About the Book

Judaism, Christianity, and Islam all represent departures from the law of God. By traveling back through time to the moment that was Exodus, the author discusses certain truths about the mysterious Entity that appeared to mankind which can act as guideposts to world peace. During the journey, we discover that this Entity which we call God is not the "loving Father" and forgiving deity that we have convinced ourselves it is. It is in fact much more of an alien being than we have ever supposed. Why it even chose to interject itself into human affairs is as much a mystery as its existence. Whatever its nature, its purpose, or even if it is still alive today, it knew something about us that could provide us the key to living together in peace. To recapture this secret, shared some 3,500 years ago, is the purpose of this essay.

About the Author

Michael Yager completed his graduate work at the College of William and Mary in Virginia. After serving with the Department of Defense, he continued his great journey as a lifelong student of the etiology of religion, particularly those arising from the sands of the Middle East. He enjoys research and writing in this area as much as the legal profession which he serves. The author is a resident of Williamsburg, Virginia.
