About the Book

Through the Eyes of Your Heart, the sequel to Hamilton Place begins in 1942 as the Theodore family moves into their new home. It is the time of party-line telephones and games such as "Run Sheep, Run." The reader will learn how a set of dentures played a significant part in the life of Mary, the youngest daughter. As she grows into a woman we follow her through twenty-eight years working in a public school. We laugh and cry with her as she endures traumatic experiences; when her only salvation is found through her dedication to her children. We are introduced to the people and the students who play a pivotal role in her discovery of the real person lying inside each of us.

About the Author

Mary Theodore Reinhart is the author of Hamilton Place. Retired from the Pittsburgh Board of Education, Mary is very active in the AARP. She and her husband of 53 years Elmer have two daughters, Maxine and Susan, and three magnificent grandchildren, Dustin, Christina, and Brandon.
