About the Book

A subway ride is much like an elevator ride. There are confined spaces, limited strangers, and boredom except for one's own thoughts. In this enclosed area, certain rules of behavior exist: mind your own business, do not look at each other for any long period of time, and do not cross into another's space.

On this one day in July, those rules were broken and nothing else would ever be the same again.

About the Author

Martha Frierson Ellis is a lifelong educator, counselor, and avid reader. She lives on a cotton farm in Shreveport, Louisiana, with three dogs and a pot-belly pig. She raised six children and attributes much of her material to the experiences she had raising her children. This is her first book, but she does not expect it to be her last. With six grandchildren and a vivid imagination, she is already working on a new book.
