About the Book
A life filled with passion, love, pain and angst. Poems that will fill your soul with as much desire for life as the desire for peace and understanding.
Written as therapy for a life of misunderstanding and misguided peril, subject to a writer's view of everything that touched her life.
About the Author
Linda Kinkel, Ph.D.
June 8th, 1952 - October 16th, 2006
Author and ornithologist, Linda was diagnosed with chronic progressive MS in 1993 and lived in Maple Park, Illinois. A lone wolf and a fighting spirit were Linda’s trademark ways. She always questioned the obvious using her intellect and her burning desire for idealistic and peaceful outcomes. Her writing was no exception. She approached everything she did with a passion and verve that could only be described as spirited angst. This was her last wish, to publish this book of poetry which best described her feelings about her world and the world around her.
Linda will best be remembered as a kind and gentle soul with whom anyone would be lucky to have known, those who shared her life with her were blessed by her lively spirit and her loving ways.
