About the Book

All Maggie Bloom wants to do is get married and live happily ever after in her Hilton Head Island home. Her hopes for peaceful wedded bliss fade, though, when she allows her best friend, Lucy Rotblumen, to coordinate the event. It's bad enough when Lucy hires fancy wedding planners from Raleigh and rents an island in Calibogue Sound for the ceremony. But when Honey McCloud, one of the wedding planners, turns up dead in the newly constructed pavilion, and the sheriff suspects Lucy of murder, Maggie fears her longed-for perfect day is doomed.

Anxious to help exonerate her friend, Maggie delves into the wedding planner's past, but as she comes close to solving the murder, someone comes close to killing her. An unseen stalker pursues her around Hilton Head threatening all kinds of terrible things. And the worst part is, no one, including her fiancé believes her.

And then there's Lucy. The deeper Maggie digs, the more dirt she turns up about her chum. Could Lucy actually be involved in-gasp-murder?

Maggie has to figure things out fast-before all the maddening mayhem leads to a matrimonial meltdown.
