About the Author

Keeping a journal and writing poetry since elementary school, Saria Monette believes wholeheartedly in the power of words. She received her bachelor?s degree from N.C. Central University in Durham. Aside from poetry, Ms. Monette also has written several essays. She currently works as a journalist and resides in Southwest Florida.
