About the Author

Juan L Hernandez was raised In Northern New Jersey and Miami Florida. Both of these worlds gave way to the poetic style that he would soon develop. Juan L. Hernandez started his writing career writing lyrics for songs and soon found out that though everyone wants the final product, few are willing to put in the time it takes to get there. The transition was not to far a stretch from lyrics to poems since writing poems has always been a part of him. Juan L Hernandez is currently working on a novel. Juan L. Hernandez was very inspired by the spoken word movement. There is a good friend of Juan L Hernandez named Willie Perez AKA (Chillski). Chillski?s drive and dedication to the art of modem day street dance, the modem day B boy. Poetry in the essences of motion. This taught Juan L Hernandez that not all poetry is written on paper. Juan L Hernandez expresses creativity with his soul as the editor and with this said welcome to The Unknown Poet.
