About the Book

When Jeremiah meets Sara, he feels as if he has found the woman of his dreams. But, when a heartbreaking letter turns his world upside down, it begins a mysterious journey for this small town Indiana boy. Not only does he discover that the world she has brought him into is populated with vampires, he also discovers that he must prove himself as their new leader in order to protect his future, and destroy an abomination.

As Jeremiah tries to deal with his new life of vampires and myth, he learns that his best friend Stephen is a member of a bloodline of vampire hunters whose sole duty it is to kill his kind. He faces betrayal, set-backs and torture, especially in obtaining the Bloodstone. Nothing comes easy for Jeremiah as he tries to uncover the mysteries of his new life and give a "new breed" of vampire a good name; neither of which, he learns, is a very easy task.

About the Author

John Cordova was born in Kokomo, Indiana. In 1992, he moved to Los Angeles, California. John?s life has been trying and adventurous, yet he has never lost his passions. Among those is writing, which he pursued by self-publishing his 2002 poetry book Through the Eyes of the Common Man.
