About the Book

The dark hand of Tragedy has touched Jonah Ennis most of his life. The untimely deaths of his twin brothers and then his parents cause him to spiral into despair. Believing he is destined to be alone he flees his boyhood home headed for parts unknown. After being attacked and robbed Jonah is left for dead in the small town of West Tocoi. Reluctantly he allows a local named Blake Jenkins to render aid to him. During his stay he meets, and against his judgment, falls in love with Dana Spencer. However her hand will not be easily won as it is being closely guarded by the wealthy Todd Harvey. Before long Jonah finds himself in another struggle with fate to keep his new family alive.

About the Author

I was born in northeast Florida and currently reside in St. Augustine with my wife of 14 years and two children. Being a native Floridian I have always had the desire to keep the Old Florida alive and my ambition is to reach that goal through writing. This book is more than just a story of falling in love. It is a story that inspires hope.
