About the Book

This book of poetry is a unique book in the method the verse is written and presented to the reader. Each poem and lyric covers a different subject ranging from war and killing to the pain of losing things closest to a person. Some of the poems are centered on how things felt within the soul and experiences in the world which inspired it.

About the Author

I have written poetry since adolescence. I write from things I see or experiences I have with the world or through meditation. In the last 6 years I have successfully had poetry published on-line through www.poetry.com all of which has made it to the final round of their contest/competition, been published in their anthologies, and three out of the many poems I have written through that website have gained editor?s choice awards. Every single poem in this book is an adventure into my soul and feelings I am otherwise unable to openly share or communicate with anyone. I have found poetry an excellent medium through which I can express pain, sorrow, or personal feelings on subjects of various natures. I currently live in Lincoln, Nebraska with my second wife and our near 2-year-old son. I enjoy writing and being creative. I also collect and play trading card games and write plays. For me personally my current wife and child have been my light and ray of happiness in this world. I am also into science fiction, fantasy, and comic books.
