About the Book

Wess breaks his engagement, but Catherine is not one to be jilted. Deviously, she selects a fictitious date, and tells her parents that she and Wess have decided to marry within two weeks. Her parents announce the wedding date at a cocktail gathering and thirty-two prominent guests offer congratulations.

He must consider ethics, ending the relationship now will disgrace her family, he, will be humiliated, and April 8th 1887 is the day he is condemned to immoral nuptials.

Maliciously, she planned the entrapment, but the eighteen-year old debutante is more than crafty. The Honeymoon reveals a virginal, tempestuous, teenager and Wess responds to trickery in reverse. He is the last of his clan, desperately, he wants an heir and realizing that Catherine is the key, he becomes a hypocrite intending to impregnate the wife that he doesn't love.

About the Author

I am 85 years of age. I have two sons, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. I?ve had major surgery four times within ten years, and do, consider, I AM LUCKY. I?ve never written anything except a letter, started this novel at 83. This is my attempt at writing.
