About the Book

Ann Marie Williams has been married and divorced twice. When the story begins in 1997, she is 56 years old, feminine, passionate, cheerful and optimistic. She misses married life and has become a serial monogamist and a self-proclaimed 'one man woman'. Ann Marie is also afflicted with health problems, and poor health is a continuing source of trial and anxiety for her.

She places an in-search-of advertisement in the newspaper and meets Hank with whom she has a six-year relationship. This is the story of Ann Marie and Hank during that time. It is an active time; they take trips to Paris, San Francisco and South America, and, closer to home in Virginia they discover romantic B and B's. There is companionship and shared interests, humor and love. But she is no closer to marriage. Ann Marie is still 'a one man woman'. Will she ever find a way to end it with Hank and find someone more marriageable?
