About the Book

Eclectics III is the third and final book in the series of poems called Eclectics. Eclectics is the story of my life of 34 years with my wife and daughter. Eclectics II is best labeled as my soapbox. Eclectics III is simply poetry. It is a continuation of the rhythmic analysis of life in America and on this planet we call Earth. It is old-fashioned simple poetry. Easy to read and understand. Hopefully something for everyone, and something to spark a thought or a smile.

About the Author

Danny L. Shanks was born in West Helena, Arkansas, the youngest of six children. He lived his early years in Georgia, went to Vietnam at age 20, returned and married his wife at age 21. They had one child, a daughter. He now resides in Washington State.
