Carter Denniston lived April 2, 1938, to September 27, 2005. He led an academic career as a distinguished teacher and researcher at UW-Madison. To family and friends, Carter is remembered for his wry humor, his logical and thoughtful approach to all in life, his integrity, and his devotion to family.
