I cry to God and ask "Where are you when I need you? Have you abandoned me?" He replies, "No, my child, it is you who abandoned Me because I will never leave you."

My life has been a roller coaster ride and every time I wanted to do evil I pushed God away. Yet, no matter how many times I did, He forgave me and welcomed me with loving arms. Throughout my life He has always intervened but I never realized it until later in life. Everything I passed through had an ultimate purpose for the future I was going to face.

Because of Him, today I have a husband who is my perfect match and a relationship with my family that I can never lose again after destroying it myself single handedly.

Leaving a world of sin and solely trusting in the Lord with all my might and leaning not on my own understanding is the only way for me to succeed in this world and find true happiness.

About the Author

Born of Indian descent, my family moved to New York City in the early 1980?s. Being an Indian girl living in the fast paced New York City with conservative parents is all a recipe for disaster. I have two wonderful parents and four other siblings all of whom still live in New York.

Coming from a home of conservative tradition and values and wanting carnal needs to be fed in an outside world gave me nothing but turmoil in my life. I needed to seek the face of God to help me out of my pit.

Raised with Hindu and Islamic beliefs gave me no comfort or strength to rise up out of the pit I was in. I needed to be loved. I needed the hand of Jesus in my life.

I am now married to a wonderful husband who God brought me to and we live in Manhattan. We are actively a part of our church and our lives have been complete under Him since my transformation.
