Her daughter, Jia Li, in opposition of the atrocities the Empress has committed, finds herself tumbling down a path of betrayal and self-introspection as she joins the revolutionaries in their attempt to overthrow the government

About the Author

Born in Los Angeles and raised in Colorado, Raishel Dion Wasserman is a junior at the University of Denver. Between long spurts of writing, she finds the time to pursue acting and remain active as a volunteer in political campaigns and civil liberties organizations.
